Blueing loss

As with some auto makers and paint, some years of Winchester blueing process resulted in flaking. Not to be confused with wear, the rust blue 'flaked' off it seems.

Negative, it would, IMO, lower the value and collectability. Its a factory blemish and adds to the authenticity of its origin. But its not a high dollar gun, just hard to find.
