Anybody have a spring length on the mag tube for a 24" barrel on a 32-20. I had the plug out and the spring shot out with surprising force and appears to be too long. TIA

Welcome to the forum!

Some early Winchester levers had a long spring to allow for spring compression memory due to leaving the tube full over long periods of time. Does the resistance seem okay while charging the tube?

Haven't had it to the range to run it through its paces.. didn't want to run live rounds through the system in the basement.
