Just picked up a copy of RIFLE Sporting Firearms Journal Special Edition Magazine and the entire issue is dedicated on Winchester Lever guns "Celebrating 150 years!

Models covered are 1873, 1876, 1886, 1892, 1894, 1895, 71. Lever gun sights and load data. So they never included modern lever guns as such. All articles are by a fella named Dave Scovill.

Jut thought I'd pass along the info on this magazine cause rare to find Winchester articles outside of an Anniversary year in my opinion, but this is an entire issue. Haven't had time to read through her but will in next few days.
