The Winchester .17 WSM
Posted: Mon Jan 07, 2013 7:40 pmThere's a new Winchester rimfire caliber about to be released, the .17 WSM (winchester super magnum), It should be available this month. Faster more explosive performance than any other rimfire to date. Advertised to have a MV around 3000 FPS for 20 grain bullets, it should be explosive on varmints ! I can't wait to see the reviews on this one when it hits the market. The cartridge is based on a .27 cal fastener case so it should be quite strong and relatively cheap to shoot. It looks like it will be the one to beat for the upcoming season !
