Regardless of what I write, double check with your reloading manual(s):
9mm cal.
Hornady 90 gr. 0.355" HP/XTP
4.6 gr. SR 7625
1.080" COL
1200 fps
I am not a 9mm aficionado.
You want to talk
380 ACP
357 Mag.
45 ACP
45 Colt
223 Rem.
243 Win.
270 Win.
30-30 Win.

I reload (and cast too). The 380 ACP (9mm kurz) is as close to 9mm as I get. I used to reload for a Win '94 in 30-30 caliber. By comparison, the '94 in 30-30 is one of the finest, tightest, easiest calibers and barrel to tune. When I was younger, at 100 yards with open sights (top eject), it would routinely put rounds in a half dollar circle from a steady rest. Fog vs. open sights on one hunt day #1, which precipitated a missed buck opportunity that day, and the immediate desire for a scoped rifle, induced me to sell the 30-30. I have since picked up two 30-30 Marlin 336's with micro-groove barrels and scopes for my boys. Now many calibers and many-many reloading recipes later, the one gun that I have settled on over all others is the 270 Win. Classic Featherweight. She is my "Go-To" hunting gun, even though there are many other fine choices in the safe, mostly acquired for fun later in my reloading career. But the Work Horse has by far been the 270 Win. If it was easy, anybody could do it.

A curiosity question. The last lead smelter was shut down. How will this affect reloaders?

As far as the lead issue goes, here in California it won't be a problem as we won't be able to hunt with lead by 2019.

I don't like the no lead shotgun rule as I love to Pheasant and Quail hunt with my Winchester M 42 and I don't know if that will work!

I've got a single shot 410 that I cut the barrel to 19", remounted the bead. I load 444 Marlin cases as 410 shells and they work great. They will not feed thru a Winchester 9410 tho.

They may if ya trim the length back just a bit or the rails may need tobe opened up a bit........Ol Deuce Do The Best With What You Have!!!!
