How many vets do we have here at Winchester Owners?
I was US Army, 1967 - 1970
MOS: 94B20, Cook
Basic at Ft Gordon, Ga
AIT at Ft Lee, Va
First duty station was Ft Carson, Co, with the 46th Field Artillery
Volunteered for Vietnam and was sent to a Support Battalion of the 1st Infantry Brigade, 5th Infantry Division (Mechanized). The Brigade was on loan to the Marine Corps, came under Command And Control of the 3rd Marine Division, and operated with them along the DMZ from Khe Sahn to the South China Sea.
Honorably discharged as an E-5.
