I wasn't able to figure it out, but joined another forum and posted pictures just fine, albeit a few more steps were involved.

Are you using a 2nd party image hosting site...or storing and editing pics on your own computer !?

If your own computer...are you re-seizing them to the correct size of 500x500...?!

Have you tried this...?

Use the IMG button on the advanced editor and drop your photo share link between the two delimiters

I have them in my computer file. I select it, but re-sizing doesn't come up in the editing options.

Try using a 3rd party hosting site...

I use IMGUR... { free and easy }
