How come no one shows love for the SX3?

Why is it that you don't see many people talk about the SX3 and SXP like they do other shotguns? I have one of each and love mine. I traded in my Benelli's for them.

You kidding? I have a couple of posts and even learned how to post pictures here because of my SX3 MODB. And my story parallels yours to some extent. I did my waterfowling with a Benelli SBE but tired of getting beaten up. The Benelli was a fine gun but I would not go back after one season with the SX3. In fact, I've already started saving for the new model in Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Blades.

I wouldn't trade my SX3 for any other semi. I have put thousands of rounds through it without any issues at all. FN has always been known for producing quality firearms, the SX3 is no exception.

Yeah I love my SX3 it is the 3 inch version and was a shot show special. It has made by FN on it. it is a deer slug barrel version. it's heavy but very soft shooting even with sabots. I also bought a 26 inch field barrel for it.

Well just not many people own them. The SXP is like the 1300. It's better than the 870 and Mossberg (IMO atleast) but for some reason it just never quite caught on. The competition came out earlier. Then it's just hard to compete with the guns that are already established and familiar in the market.
Also it seems people don't want to buy them because they're made in Turkey. The whole "If it ain't made in the U.S. It's junk" nonsense. Yea, I'd prefer if my SXP said "Made in the U.S.A." on the barrel, but as far as I'm concerned, a good shotgun is a good shotgun regardless where it's made.

Then again alot of people actually own and praise the Winchesters without knowing it. The FN P-12? Just a dressed up SXP. The FN SLP, just an SX2 with a few hundred bucks tacked on for the FN marking.
And from the look of it the Browning Maxus is an SX3 with a different trigger guard and fancier finish.

The SX3 (made by FN) and the Browning are very similar, just a slightly different gas piston and the design of the Browning prevents the addition of an extended mag tube. The forestock on the browning models seems wider and bigger to me. I prefer the handling of the SX3 to any of the Brownings.

Perhaps I should have posted here first, but I just put a post in the hunting section about the 4 black ducks I bagged with my week old Super X Model 3 without ever having tried it out before the season began.

Seem to be nice guns.It is my understanding that the Browning Silver is the same gun, with some different wood.

Sweet. We, my wife and I, own three SX3s. The only issue ever is that my SX3 Sporting has a horrendous trigger pull which will support the full weight of the gun. Go figure that my waterfowl gun has an excellent trigger.

Does the SX4 have a lighter trigger or improvements from the SX3? Thanks
