So Santa was good to me this year and brought me a New Winchester SX3. I shot her for the first time today and was very very impressed.

The SX3 is like no other Auto-loader on the market. It is not only the fastest Auto-loader i have shot but it is also one of the quietest. I had no problem shooting without ear protection.

I did run into a little problem though, I shot 100 rounds and 2 of them did not eject properly and the gun jammed not sure why it happened. It might have been a result of the crappy shells i was using.

After i put a hundred rounds through it, i tore the gun down and i was surprised how clean the gun was. the dirtiest part of the gun was near the gas chamber, but it was very easy to clean.

I can't imagine not having my SX3 now , since selling my Lanber o/u and treating myself to a 3.5'' Composite model last year.

Like yourself stags , when i first shot the SX3 i had a few problems with a few shells not ejecting properly. I soon discovered that the problem was the 65mm shells that were left over from my Lanber. So i switched to 70mm carts and never had a problrm since ,

Hi,
I am new here, but was advised by my RFD who sold me the SX3 to run a box of heavier 3inch bb 50g cartridges through the gun before using lighter 71/2 2 3/4 28g clay busters through it.
So far after following his advice I haven't suffered a single cycling or jam in over 500 rounds.
The SX3 performance actually has two slides fir heavy and light loads that the black shadow doesn't unfortunately.
Hope this helps.
