SXP Defender

Hi all. New here. Got a question about accessories. I'm thinking of getting one of the SXP Defender models but I would like a few accessories. One being a Side Saddle cartridge holder either to fit on the side of the receiver OR maybe one that is kind of L shaped to attach the Picatinny on top that the Ghost sight is attached to. Another accessory would be a mag tube extension. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi and thanks for the invite. I guess you don't have any ideas for the mods I want to put on my SXP? If nothing else I thought I could get a Side Saddle cartridge holder, maybe one from Mesa Tactical, and just use some double sided foam tape.

No help at all. Someone will probably come by with knowledge.

No problem. I have another question hoping that someone will know. I understand that the Butt Stock on the Defender is made by ATI but the Pull Length has been disable for some reason. I read another Topic here and a rep. from ATI said they have a conversion kit for it to make it adjustable. Does anyone know anything about this and what the item number might be. I've sent ATI a couple of messages about this but they have not yet replied. My other question to them is if it is also possible to install a Recoil Buffer in it. Any info that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

Yeah it was a toss up between the SXP at $400 or a Remington Model 870 Express Tactical A-TACS Camo at $588 at Cheaper Than Dirt. The only real problem is available accessories for the SXP. Although STILL not 100% sure of which one to get. Less accessories for the SXP and less rounds in the mag tube. Plus I'll have to add about another $70 to get the stock adjustable and another $25 for a ProMag Archangel Remington 870 7 Round 12 Gauge Shell Holder. So now the cost of the SXP is getting closer to the 870. Go figure huh?
