Hi,
This may have been asked before, but is it safe to wipe down a wooden stock and metal work with GT85 that contains PTFE?
I have been told it's ok, but would like confirmation from experienced users.
Thanks in advance.

It may or may not be safe for the metal...but, I wouldn't treat any wood with it

Hi,
Ok, no to GT85 it is, lol, thanks for the info. What does everyone use to wipe down and clean the wood after a damp days shooting? |

I use a cloth dampened with an aerosol furniture polish (Lemon Pledge works) on any stocks with a shiny finish. I also use minwax finishing wax on my stocks that have "hand rubbed" finishes. It can be reactivated to by just polishing it with a dry cloth, or re-applying another coat as needed. Works for me....
