Guy's very excited. I have been wanting a 1886 for a long time to go with my several 92's. Finally bit the bullet and bought one off of GB. It is the short rifle version with a 22" barrel. Comes in to the LGS tomorrow (Thursday) can wait to get it in my hands, never even seen one at the LGS or ever held one. Never been around one. YouTube videos sold me on one. I have two Winchester's in 1892 short rifles with Big loops 16" barrel's. I like them so much I had to have a Winchester in the 1886. Plus they were priced as well if not better than all the other 1886's that I had the LGS check and see if he could get. He could not find one except a takedown Taylors model at $2400. So I just went to GB and bout one of the two short rifles that were on there. Can't wait

Okay guy's/gal's

Finally got her and have her all set. Took me three shots to get her on target. with that steel butt plate she has some kick and lets you know she means business. I have made a few modifications to her though.

1. Got rid of the rebounding hammer strut leg 1st thing
2. Wrapped the lever in leather and oiled the leather to keep from rusting it.
3. Added sling swivels and a leather sling.

Sorry for the crappy picture but better pic's coming soon.
