Winchester rifle stocks example Walnut butt stock made for Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle. Butt stock copied from Original Winchester OEM pattern. Butt plate cut available in steel style butt plate, crescent butt plate and shotgun style butt plate. Machine inlet and will require fit and finish. Wiped down with mineral spirits and is not finished. Wood type available in Walnut or Deluxe Cherry or Birch.

Thanks for posting the information. I see the current production 1886 short rifle has the crescent stock. How comfortable is this stock formation in comparison with the butt stock of the 1886 extra light? I am not a collector, just a simple hunter, so field use is the most important factor for me. I am debating between the extra light and the short rifle. Thanks for any information.
