Hi all,
New guy here from Maryland. I joined last week and have been posting a few rifles that I have including 5 model 1890s, 2 model 1906s, 3 model 1894s and here is a pretty nice model 1892 SRC in 44-40.
The serial number 777952 dates this gun to 1915. She's 100 years old. Willard Scott should put her on the Smucker's jar! This is a sweet little shooter. It has the original front and rear ladder sight. Most of the original finish is gone but the gun is complete with a very good bore. I believe the 44-40 is the sought after caliber in this model. Thanks for looking.
Wayne

I have a twin to your original SRC that belonged to my great grandfather. I just bought a new Win/Miroku '92 SRC that is a twin - even to the 44-40 chambering. Beautiful and handy little rifles.

My next acquisition will be a Miroku '73 in 44-40.
