I have come into a very nice 1959 Winchester model 94.
The owner says it is all original and it looks it except
it has round headed Phillips butt plate screws.

The butt plate is the standard steel checkered plate
with inlets for the flat head screws.

Ive removed the plate and it doesn't look
to have ever been taken off.

Ive seen round Phillips screws for Winchesters but
i would like to hear if any Winchester fans know if
model 94's in the 50's carried round head screws.

Thanks.
