It's a standard model with plain stock.

Serial is 6,475,XXX.

I wonder when it was made and if this longer barrel is common and if it's a better shooter than the normal 20-inchers?

Any other info on this particular model would be appreciated.

Site is running on near empty. Myself and 1 other is all I see participating. You can try calling Winchester.

Thanks for the tip.......but it's too bad.

Sad to see a Winchester forum dying.

Dances, typically a longer barrel shoots straighter than a shorter barrel and the velocity may be higher depending on the powder.
I will try to get back with a manufacture approximate year and Blue Book value, is it a full length magazine or the shorter version about 3/4 length?
Too old to be nice, never too old to learn!

I just bought a 24 inch 45 long colt last week but have not shot it yet. Made in 92 or 93. Looks new.
