So, I found a parts kit through Midwest Gun Works but it is for the coil hammer spring version. I know that my 1974 has a leaf hammer spring and I don't know how many of the other parts are compatible. Is there a place that I can buy a parts kit for this version or can I just buy the one that's available and omit the hammer spring. Will everything else fit? When did Winchester switch from using the leaf to using a coil for the hammer spring?
