Well, I have a BB m94 in 375 Winchester made in 1980 that I bought a couple years ago, claimed to be "as new, unfired".
I REALLY love that rifle....well, other than the hard to come by ammo components. Luckily the same shop had 26rds of factory ammo on hand so I bought that too.
Anyway, I sent all the factory stuff downrange, got myself some Hawk bullets in the 200 and 250gr flavor, and cooked up some rounds to try out. I found that the 250gr seemed to shoot best, especially when loaded stout. I settled on that load (30gr of H4198) and was able to make a 1" group at 50yds on paper. I'd like to pick up some 220gr jacketed bullets from Vollmer to try, they seem to get very good reviews from other 375 Win shooters I speak to on other forums.
50yds is my average shot on game as I spend almost all of my hunting hours in the woods. I was especially pleased with the grouping because I find myself really struggling with open sights these days. I'm sure the rifle can shoot better than me, but I will be getting a Marbles tang sight for it in the near future.
Anyhow, what I have been doing with my 94 lately is sitting in the woods with it, waiting for the first successful hunt with that rifle.
Here it is posing with my S&W 629 Classic in the woods.
