The only Winchester 1894 that I own is my Buffalo Bill Commemorative 30-30. I inherited it from my father who bought it in 1968. It has never been fired, but that adds nothing to its monetary value. Its only value to me is purely sentimental value.

I am seriously considering purchasing a new Model 94 Sporter to shoot.

Good Looking '94...and nice story about it being in your family since 1968.

I myself would shoot and enjoy it...as you are correct that the added value in selling it would be nominal.

Very nice firearm for sure! What is priceless is it being your Father's and passed down and stays within the family.
