Looking at a 1906 vintage m94 with an octagon barrel and 1/2 mag. Was this offered with a 24" barrel?

My understanding is that factory standard was 20" round for carbine and 26" octagon for rifles, both with full length magazine tubes. Anything else was factory option or special order. The 26" octagon in the '94 was dropped when the Model 55 was introduced in the 20's. After that all 94's were 20" round barrels. Maybe special orders were still available, not sure on that. Cannot cite a single source for all I just said, but it is an accumulation of different references.
Maybe someone has a definitive reference.
