I purchased a 94 Cheyenne Carbine .44-40 Commemrative (no box, no papers) to shoot in Cowboy Action. After limited use the carrier broke. My gunsmith informs me the carrier in this commerative is a stamped part and he does not know of a source for this part. I was not aware the commemratives have inferior parts! Does anyone know where one might be able to find a carrier for this rifle?

Try midwest gun works, chas jones gun parts, numrich etc, I may be wrong but I think there is no difference between a stamped and machined. AND EBAY, I saw some on homestead parts

They don't actually contain inferior parts, just the parts that were in use at that time. Cowboy action and 1894s do not appear to be a happy combination over the long haul.
