Why does my bolt jump when the trigger is pulled?

I have a Post 64' M70 that I rebarreled and chambered in 6mmXC. The gun was well used prior to the change but tonight I noticed the bolt jerk or jump significantly when I dry fired the trigger. Anyone know why? I have an M70 30-06 with the same bolt but when I swap the bolts the 30-06 bolt does not jump nearly as bad as the 6XC bolt. This has to have a significant impact on accuracy.
