243 win. Stealth

Anyone have any info on the 243 win. Stealth? How many were made in 243 win. I just bought a new old stock one. Went to put a rail on it and it takes a wsm rail and the action opening is 1/4" longer than a short action.
Why would a 243 win be in a wsm action?

Was hoping someone had some info on it. Guess I will put it back in the box and hope my daughter can make some money on it someday.
