I have just purchased a new Mod 70 Supergrade in .300WM and will be installing a Leupold VX-3i 4.5-14x40mm (30mm) Side Focus scope. I want to keep the scope as low as possible while being able to utilize the maximum eye relief of 3.7" at 14x. Any suggestions?

The Leupold mounts made for the 70 will work just fine, the rings should be medium height. You'll need one set of each. This is what I use on my VX-5HD Boone and Crocket with side focus.

Thanks, I might try to get my hands on a set of the Backcountry ring mounts if they are available out here yet.
