I found a left hand model 70 featherweight in a 300 wsm. I’m considering buying it but I’ve read some bad reviews about the stainless model 70 left hand some people claimed that the drilling for scope mounts where not straight some said the machining tool where worn out. I’m wondering if any has some input on these claims and of general quality of these left handed featherweights.

Welcome X bolt, I can not speak to the left hand nor Featherweight versions but I do have and like very much my M70 standard in .325 WSM. The fit and finish are very good and the rifle is accurate. Not the same I realize but I hope this helps.
