Was at a gun show in Hamilton Montana back in the early 90's. I listened in on a couple trying to come to an agreement on price of a really nice Model 67 boys rifle. The rifle was show room condition and priced accordingly, the couple offered less several times. The dealer was locked in, he knew what he had and was sticking to his price. Finally the couple made a "final offer", it was rejected. The dealer looked at the couple for 15 seconds and leaned over the table with the little rifle in his hands and said; "I can guarantee that this rifle has never been fired after dark or carried fast over rough terrain". Long pause, mouths dropped open; and the couple paid the asking price and left the show laughing.
