Here are a few I've collected over the years...nothing expensive or fancy...just sumptin' to toss at targets.
The axe above is really a camp axe that I've learned to throw and stick...same with the one below, an axe, shovel combo...sharpen the edge of the shovel...then get "spetnaz" on the enemy !! |

Yea, it's not easy at first Stags...
You have to get a feel for distance and spin...in other words, if you are say 8 feet away...you must determine by your throwing style, how many part and full revolutions of the blade it will take to make the point of the blade hit the target at that distance. That is how the professionals do it...it's all measured distance between target and thrower, with the thrower knowing how many revolutions it will take to stick the target at that distance. It's all about consistency of your throwing style ( how you hold and release the weapon ) and lots of practice ( at a pre-determined distance ). |
