Long time Winchester fan, big Model 70 fan. First rifle was a Model 94 30-30. Have had several Model 94's and Model 70's. Currently have a few Model 70's and a Model 1912. Love to deer hunt in Northern Wisconsin and the U.P. of Michigan.

Welcome to the Forums. I too had a Model 94 in 30-30 caliber as a first gun. I still have the first case I ever shot as a memento. I guess one day I will have to reload that case and make it just another in the well spring of components. I too am a venison meat hunter, and exclusively with a Model 70 Classic Featherweight, however the St Johns River flood plain in Florida and the forests of South Carolina are my stomping grounds for deer.
If it was easy, anybody could do it.
