I am the proud owner of a Model 94AE 30-30. I know it is not real valuable but wouldn't trade it for any of those other kind of rifles. The rifle just fits perfect. Hopefully can read this forum regular and get smarter about my favorite firearm.

Thanks

ch47 - Welcome to the Forum and stick with the 94. The 30-30 is the perfect caliber, an exceptional round to reload, forgiving, a pusher, not a puncher, a killer of men and beasties as the case might be. It will, if you wish, handle a top scope nicely.
If it was easy, anybody could do it.
