I recently acquired a 1957 Model 70 in 30.06. Overall, very good condition. Came with a Leupold Vari-X II 3-9X40 scope. Gunsmith is giving it a deep cleaning and inspection. I hope to take it to the range within a couple of weeks.

Win Tex welcome to the forum! That is a nice year IMO for a Model 70! I have one I have been looking at for a while as well just have not pulled the trigger. Post some pics of her in the appropriate sub forum cause I for one would love to see her!
