I have been looking to convert a Model 120 I have to more of a tactical shotgun. I know it would be easier to just sell it and buy another, but since i have it i just figured i would modify it a little. I was looking at the ATI Talon kit but needed to confirm that the 120 shared the same platform as the 1200 & 1300. It would be just replacing the stock and the forend. This is the kit i was looking at.

Any help would be appreciated.

The stocks are interchangeable between models 120, 1200, and 1300. Hope this helps you decide.

Thanks guys. Eventually i would like to replace the barrel with a shorter one, but also increase the size of the magazine. Which sub-forum would be the best for information on these subjects?

Maybe its worth looking at the sxp Camp/field combo. , Its been recently discontinued here in my area, but there might be a few still for sale if you check around. It would give you the option of two barrels, 18" and a 26" with changeable invector plus chokes. I'd also check out the sxp thread, 1200 and 1300 threads before getting too involved with buying spare barrels. The shorter barrels that fit regular 1200's are getting harder to find. This would mean you might have to change your mag tube to get the proper fit with a shorter barrel or modify the attachment ring position on the barrel.
