hello all--like to collect old firearms--have 2 winchesters--a model 1873(38-40) and a model 62(22) both are in great shape and shootable--

I like the Winchester slide 22s. Growing up on a small farm in the 30s-40s I could only drool for one. I did sell enough garden seeds over 2 seasons to get my first BB gun. A Daisy Red Ryder for $2.95. A lot of money just from seeds. My first real gun is a J.C. Higgins model 28 in 1951. I still have it and the Daisy.
