Well Howdy one and all. I'm retired and finally get to shoot more! I like reloading and load for 44 mag, 41 mag, 45 acp, 357 mag. In this crazy world I still have and like to work with firearms. I went to Trinidad years ago, Class of '95. I like Ruger SA's, Glock, Colt, Rem, anything that shoots. My uncle Charlie collected machine guns and military firearms. I was the only 4th grader who had his own truck and could field strip an 08-15 Maxim machine gun. More later. 8-)

Howdy SBH.

Welcome and tell us more about the machine guns when you have time.

I was in a Marine antitank company during the Korean thingy. In addition to many other weapons, we had Thompsons. I recall the armory had drum and stick magazines. The drums were issued to the tank gunners and the sticks to others that carried the Thompson. The reason being, Thompsons were difficult to sling with drums. The tank gunners didn't need a sling very often.
