Recently acquired a couple pre 64 model 94's and joined seaking more knowledge about them. My father was into collecting, shooting, and reloading. Over the years I have acquired some of his collection that meant the most to me growing up. One of which is a Model 1200 shotgun he bought new in the mid-sixties. It may not be worth allot and the box it came in is long gone, but it's still a vivid memory of dads early collecting days and priceless to me! Have a few close friends that also enjoy firearms. Haven't hunted in years, but like to shoot occasionally when time allows.

Welcome and enjoy. Your motivations sound much like myself. Not only is collecting, caring for and shooting firearms enjoyable but enjoyment is doubled when it also brings back fond old memories.

You did good Chuck. Welcome to Winchester stuff.

I have my late Dad's only 2 guns. Good to keep the memories alive.
