I grew up Down the street from the Winchester Mystery house loving the gun collection and stories.
I'm here to learn more about Winchesters and their great American lagacy.

Welcome to the forum! Chris I have always heard at times around the factory and such, workers often made their own firearms or details they wanted done by friends and co-workers. Winchester even at times allowed workers to purchase firearms and such. Of course these folks get older, family isn't into firearms and sells off firearms around these communities. Heard there are times some nice ones hit these markets locally. I'd keep my ears and eyes peeled open constantly!
