Hi, I am a lifetime bird hunter at 73 years young. I was the only one in my age group to walk the fields for pheasants this year-lucky guy so far. Like many of you, I have too many guns. I admit that because because due to bird populations (especially quail) fewer of my guns get used each year and we aren't getting any younger. I have always wanted a Model 21 and I know they are over-priced and over -valued so I am toying with the thought of selling a number of guns for the reasons above so I can hunt my remaining years with a 21. Based on that, what is the realistic low-dollar range for a solid model 21 20-gauge? Thanks and glad to be aboard.

Well first and foremost welcome to the forum! 73 years young and still going! That is great!

In as far as a Model 21, depends on timeframe and condition, and Grade! Manufactured from 1931 to 1990, that is a big spread.

Just a quick search on Gunbroker brought up three that ranged from 5K to almost 10k. GunsAmerica has one from 1937, Skeet Model engraved $8450! Another on there for 7K has some light pitting and such, WS-1 WS-2 barrels. These are all 20 gauge guns. I never looked at Cabela's Gun Library online but they have some nice guns for good prices as well.

I know this I found a 12 Gauge from 1955 that I'd love to have myself! : I gotta pay off another Model 88 from 1955 I put into layaway first haha.

Now in as far as what you might unload I'd say there are a whole lot of us that would be interested in them! ;)
