Good afternoon.

Glad to be a part of this community. I am a shooter and compete in high power rifle. Love firearms from the old west.

Own replicas of the ones I like the most but also have an original 1873 rifle in 32-20 made in about 1913. When I got it the firing pin was rusted in the barrel. With a lot of patience got the parts separated without damage and all works well now. Posted a question about the firing pin retainer today, too, will be interested in replies.

Great to have folks that really know about the old firearms to weigh in and carry on the tradition.

Thanks to all for a great site!
