Hey gang, glad to be a part of the club!
I've been shooting since I was a kid, first experience with the model 94 was my uncle's "cowboy commerative". I loved that gun with its nickle plated receiver, saddle ring and medallion in the stock. I always though of it as the redryder for big kids, lol.
I have gathered quite a collection over the years , including a 9422 and a Marlin in .357, but never landed a real Winny.
Finally found one and " the boss " thought it would be a great 10 yr anniversary gift for me. I have to agree :D
It is an early 40's mfg model 94 chambered in 30 W.C.F. The serial number places it in the early "lost years". The rifle looks to be original and is in really great shape. I'm told it was found in an attic wrapped in plastic.
I'm here to learn, share and have fun. Thanks for having me!
