Good to see a Winchester owners forum.
I own 3 Model 12's. All field grades one from 1920, one from 1915, and another from 1914 with a solid rib, and no alignment arrows on the mag tube.
The solid rib had been parkerized by a previous owner and I'd love to have it restored but, for now anyway, I'm having too much fun shooting it.
I also have a model 1897 from 1906. Looks just awful, but, with a 28" mod bbl its another great shooter.
It looks like this is going to be a great forum. I like the idea of separate catagories for each model.
I look forward to learning to post pictures.
Glad to be here, Sipi

Welcome. They sound like great guns. This forum is a good one as it doesn't just deal with "safe queens" but everyday shooters too.
