Howdy all...I just stumbled across this place by accident and I'm glad I did. :) I'm a heavy haul truck driver that spends way too much time on gun forums, LOL.

I only have 2 Winchesters...I was always a Remington guy (got plenty of those) but I have seen the light, LOL.

I have some good friends who bought model 70's recently...one is a Featherweight in 270 WSM and that is the rifle that sold me, its beautiful...and shoots awesome. The other is a used Ultimate Shadow (may be a Shadow, not quite sure) in 7mm WSM...I used that rifle to get a deer a couple of weeks ago.

I have an old model 70 in 458 Win Mag that was an impulse buy at a gun show years ago...never shot it much, but it looks good in the gun safe

And then there is the Ultimate Shadow I just bought...its a 30-06...the first new Winchester I have ever owned. My very first gun was Winchester though, a single shot 22, I forget the model of it...it was stolen years ago

My 30-06 with my son proudly displaying it...he's been rubbing it in that he has held it and I have not...I'm a truck driver and have not been home since the rifle arrived.

I like to go all out on introductions...

Yes I reload...various calibers...mostly 45acp, 45-70, and 308, but now 30-06 will be in the lot too.

Oh...this is the deer I shot with that 7mm WSM I mentioned above.

I'm the proud parent of a US Marine...

And my best good friend...Henry, my mule.

Good to be here...I've put the word out about this place on The High Road and The Firing Line, that might generate some new members. Those are the 2 biggest forums I know of...

Another forum I'm gonna mention it on too...Marlin Owners, where I am a Super Mod...its got almost 30,000 members or something like that.

Hey guys and gals...yall should check out Marlin Owners forum too...its about the friendliest, most family oriented forum on the internet.

Its not required that you own a Marlin (but that will get you extra points ;) )

http://www.marlinowners.com/forum/

If you have a Marlin that needs a little gunsmithing but you are not sure you wanna try it yourself...there are guys there that can and will help, actually they already have...just check out the reference library....
