Hey all,
I come by way of recommendation by Ridgerunner on Marlin Owners. I own a Winchester 1300 12Ga, does that count? :D It's actually my second 1300, I love the controls and fit.

Ridge and I have been chatting some about the Winchester 70 and other bolt rifles recently, I've admired the design for a long time. I don't have one...I'm left handed, shoot left handed, and prefer left handed bolt actions; but I'm hoping FN/Winchester will release a left handed version some day, I'd certainly scoop one up right away if they did.

Not to ramble on too much, my firearms interests are pretty broad: lever actions (have two Marlins, a .30-30 and .45-70), .22s (a couple Brownings and a CZ), milsurps, black rifles, and a slew of handguns. I reload for everything I shoot except for the .22s and shotgun.

Wow, I just realized I don't have any photos of my 1300. It's not much to look at, anyhow, a total working gun...camo, slightly beat up... It shoots great, though :D

Ryan

Welcome to WinchesterOwners.com, We are glad that you have chosen to be a part of our growing community. We hope you enjoy your time on the site!!!

I myself am also left handed so i know how you feel, i don't understand why companies don't make their firearms both right and left handed. i also have a marlin .30-.30 which i love, i killed my first 2 deer this year with it. so i don't think ill be getting rid of it anytime soon.
