Hi Guys
Found this site while googling for information on my latest purchase. A Winchester Model 61 standard. Love my Winchesters, especially the older lever action rifles. Have 4 model 92's in 25-20, 32-20 & 44-40. A mint 9422M. A model 62 and of course the model 61. Have owned and sold many others.
My model 61 isnt feeding into the chamber properly as the bullets are leaning to the left and stricking the edge of the chamber. I have purchased a new extractor and plunger from Homestead Firearms and trying to any info i can on replacing them

Hi, ende up stripping bolt and giving a good clean up and replacing extractor. Works like a dream now.
