For those of us with Concealed Carry permits, or Open Carry depending on your state's carry laws, post up your EDC handgun...

For me it's my Kimber Ultra CDP II .45 riding in a Bianchi Carrylok. I also carry my Kahr P380 in an ankle band as a back-up in colder weather. The Kahr sometimes servers as my primary for light/summer carry and rides tucked into my shorts in an Uncle Mike's IWB holster.

I love my little XD40SC.

Have you looked into the trigger kit yet?

I looked into the trigger and can not wait to order one. The only thing that is holding me back is that I currently reside in NY and I am still waiting to get my pistol permit here. So I still have not been reunited with my XD40SC.

lately my CCW has been an American Tactical "Fatboy" 1911-ish clone.
12 rounds of .45 acp packed into a 3.25" barreled pistol, w/a grip no wider than a single-stack Colt 1911.

Image

that's a win/win.....win ...to me!

it handles and operates like the familiar old 1911......but the barrel bushing is internal and the barrel its-self has an alignment lug at the muzzle .

Image

the "grips" are milled as 1 piece WITH the frame, to keep overall width down for great handling.
all matte finished steel......no polymer here (except the skeletonized aluminum trigger, and the magazine follower and bottom plate) so it has a substantial weight, but with .45acp I wouldn't want a featherweight!
