Love my 1911s...
Smith & Wesson 1911 Government .45  Kimber Ultra CDP II .45  Here they are paired with m1911 Folding Knives from Ultimate Equipment...  The S&W is paired with a Standard Folder and the Kimber with a one-of-a-kind custom bi-tone Officer's Folder. Both blades are made from CPM-S3OV steel. "We live in a society of wolves. Picked up a 4" Rock Island Armory MS 1911a1 today...
Been curious about the brand for a while and since I've been needing a mid-sized 1911 in my life I figured I'd give 'em a shot.......so to speak. It's not a true commander length, but it'll do just fine. It's park'd with a set of pretty basic wood grips, but those'll get replaced very soon. I'm thinking about installing an extended beavertail grip safety, an extended thumb safety, a commander style hammer, and a new trigger as well. Enough talk, here are the pics...

All mine are in .45acp, but I've been wanting a 9mm 1911 for a while now. I'll probably end up with an STI eventually...

New grips and screws for the RIA came in yesterday!
