M94 "Wrangler"?

M94, 16", full magazine, laser engraved receiver, blue, top eject, marked "Wrangler" on right side of barrel, chambered in 32 Winchester Special. Originally had oversize hoop lever, I changed that out to a standard lever. Rifle was made by Olin Winchester in late 70's.
Does anyone have an idea how many were made in this configuration and what they sold for new???

Thanks, mine is the first one listed of the 3 listings you posted but it included the lever and roll engraving listed in the second model.
Which edition of BB did that come out of??

No Blue Book, it's from the Shooting Times Book of the Winchester Model 94 and Model 70. I would call Winchester and do a serial number check first i think yours is in the second row from what you described.

Mine is top eject, second row states clearly "angle eject". Mine is "top eject" and drilled for a receiver sight on left side. I installed a receiver sight, it nearly doubled my sight radius. It is one of the best cast boolit shooting guns I own.

I knew the request of a picture would be coming; sorry, I don't own a camera. The last camera I owned was pilfered from my luggage at Clark Air Base in 1972. I never replaced it. All my guns are on DVD for insurance purposes but I don't think I'll ever post a picture on the interweb, even if I did know how. My DVD was done for and by my insurance lady.

.

Calling Winchester is worthless and a waste. They don't know or care, maybe they just don't know. I called them a couple of times and got incorrect info so I have given up on Winchester.

Your Wrangler is most likely a Wangler II (second group) with a serial Number around 5,095,XXX to 5,115,XXX and made in 1982 or 1983. That would be top eject, non rebounding hammer. How far did I miss it?

I think you have it except it is not marked as a USRA gun. I'm thinking that USRA had taken full production by 1981 and everything was marked as such.

jist like mine, i'm thinkin', 'cept while the 'smith was changin' out the lever fer a plain one (anybody wanta buy the big looper?) i had him install a ladder rear sight offa old '92 er sumpthin'. don't make it any accurater, but it comforts my old soul a mite. mine don't like them hornady hotrods, but it shoots fact'ry winnies 'n several reloads fine--includin' cast boolits.
mind yer topknots!

I put a Williams receiver sight on mine, extended the sight radius about 10". Shooting 150 gr. cast over 15 gr. SR4759 it groups inside 8" at 200 meters with not a lot of problem.
