No one thought this incredible rifle would ever do an encore. But here it is -- in all its classic, beautiful glory -- one of the most interesting and desirable Model 95 Winchester variations ever made. After nearly 100 years, the new Winchester Model 95 Saddle Ring Carbine is back, honoring the original. This is multiplied by its caliber: 30-06 Springfield, which this year celebrates its 100th Anniversary. One of the most classic rifles ever chambered in the most famous cartridge of all time. The 95 was one of the first rifles to be chambered in 30-06. At that time the 95 bore the original 30-06 inscription which was .30 Govt. '06 . . . as does this special edition rifle. And it has much more:

Classic ladder rear sight.
Strap style buttplate with trap.
Compact 22" barrel.
With its smooth, contoured styling, no gun ever slid into a scabbard like a '95 carbine.
Snap-in wood over the barrel just like the originals.
Drilled and tapped for special side mounted Lyman sight (available from Lyman and other suppliers separately).
Special 100th Anniversary of the 30-06 wording discretely engraved on the left side of the receiver.
Special selected walnut stock with oil finish.
Saddle ring fitted to left side of receiver.
Tang mounted safety preserves the classic lines and appearance.

I have one of those, but it was made 88 yrs ago. Same old .30 Gov't '06 caliber, but far more experienced. Image
