1906 to 2006 makes for 100 incredible years. The 30-06 Springfield, America’s all-time favorite cartridge, is commemorating its first century and still going strong. As the 1885 High Wall was one of the first sporting rifles chambered in this cartridge, it seems appropriate it should be a part of the celebration. For 2006 the 1885 Centennial Hunter offers this chambering in a free-floating 28" full octagon barrel, drilled and tapped for scope mounts. A trim, satin finished checkered walnut stock complete with a premier Pachmayr® Decelerator® recoil pad, sling swivel studs and a Schnabel forearm frame this magnificent rifle, one that is sure to become a favorite companion on future hunts and cherished by future generations.
