				Whats UP?

I check this site two times a day. Never hardly ever any traffic on here. So is it that the Winchester's 9422's out there just work so well there is never anything to discuss, or is it that they have been out of production so long that this site is dying ? I am of the belief that it is such a good 22 that there is nothing to talk about.
See what you all think. The 9422 definitely out ranks my Marlin and Browning levers.

The 9422 is a jewel. Mine was sold when I was thinning the herd several years past. Was an early smooth wood model.

				Redryder,
Mine is a 1978XTR. It is a smooth wood model with very shiny finish. I like the feel of real wood and I am a short fella so I cut the stock down to a 12.5" LOP. Then refinished the complete stock in wax only. Fells great. By far my favorite rifle.

Nice mod job. You have an almost trapper.

Mine was a 1977 9422M SN F358754. Sold locally in 2017 for $1,000.00 along with 5 other guns.

Hang on to her bob lewis.
Diabetes caught me about ten-years past. Had far too many guns to deal with. Was not shooting , just cuddling and cleaning.

Good for you! Go as long as you can. Not so much diabetes as is what it does to the body. Diabetes hit my heart, sight and hearing really hard. The onboard defibulator is my concern with shooting. Don't need to traumatize the device or dislodge a probe. I will be 84 next month.
