I have been looking for this trapper takedown in a 357 mag is it really discontinued ? I see that the winchester site still shows it is still in production. That sucks if I can not locate one I really like the gun. But that figures something I like and want has to be a mission for me

hmmm that's weird that they have it in both the historic products and still in production. Have you tried to contact Winchester Arms and ask them whats the deal with this gun.

Yes I got the gun a while back Been doing some target shooting to dail it in. It is a great rifle shoots very nice with hardly any kick. Hitting the center at 40yards with the sights and grouping them within 2 inches real happy. Went hunting this weekend rifle just opened up in this neck of the woods. No luck just seen one run by me but could not get a good shot off. So far I would highly recommended the takedown for anyone who likes lever actions. Have a good one and good hunting to all

I've got one in 44-40. The local shop has two left, one in .45 and one in .44 Mag.
