https://flic.kr/s/aHsk6V9xCR album for my 1937 M70 Gov30.06

I just purchased a Stith Master Mount off of eBay and put it.... But it doesn't look correct.
Either one or more of the following:
I have it mounted incorrectly,
or there are missing pieces,
or it isn't a stith mount for a Pre-64

The scope ring doesn't line up with the mounts.....is the platform where ring mounts bent?

Any help please.

Can a moderator move this thread to Model 70 instead of Discontinued Pre-64....it might get more expert attention there

Thank you for posting pictures makes things easy
You have the correct stith mount for a model 70 wrong era but correct mount the stith was 1950s either way here is the problem

You have the front and rear base correct
The scope ring and support attach to the bottom of the front mount you have it on the top
so the thumb screw goes through the mount THEN through the support make sense easy fix

Good luck
